Frontier Airlines announces new Austin-Kansas City non-stop service

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Frontier Airlines has announced it will inaugurate nonstop service between Austin and Kansas City, Mo., starting November 18, 2010.

“We're excited to add new nonstop service to Kansas City and through service to Milwaukee,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier VP of strategy and planning. “This service provides access to more of the over 70 destinations that Frontier serves."

The new flight will depart Austin-Bergstrom daily, except on Sundays, at 8:10 a.m. and arrive in Kansas City at 10 a.m. The return flight will depart Kansas City daily, except on Saturdays, at 6:59 p.m. and arrive in Austin at 8:54 p.m., all times local. The flights are available for purchase at www.FrontierAirlines.com or by calling 1-800-432-1359.

This new route will be flown by the carrier’s Embraer 170 aircraft. The 76-seat E170 features comfortable two-by-two all leather seating. The carrier’s E170 and E190 aircraft will be outfitted with inflight internet service by fall 2010.
